"IT" will not be named!!

Last night...light mountain henna with advocado oil, amla. Shampooed with NTM moisture poo, conditioned with germain de trigo and 10 en 1. I then put NTM leave in, my lavender, sage, rosemary, nettle and coconut oil concoction to scalp. The last thing was a coating to ends and hair length with an impulsively purchased product I'll call "black laxative." I will not name the castor oil product 'cause I don't want to end up {{without my permission!! }} on a certain website hailing the benefits of this
" black laxative."
I hated the scent, the feel last night so went to sleep determined to wash it out the next night. I awoke to such a pleasant surprise....my hair had that "just hot combed" look from childhood. I have to say...without naming it {you know what it is} that it will be a staple now.
PS..could've been the combination of products used but I'm thinking "IT" made the difference.

I have no idea what it is but I really need to get some. Can you spell it backwards or some thing :look:

I'm 99.99% sure that your review will remain safe and sound on this forum.

I can't stand the smell of the regular one, so I can imagine how the "black laxative" smells. Good to know how well it works though.

Nappy, I hear ya but have you seen the threads where people have been quoted by a company which lifted their comments about this product? No compensation, no permission yet they are using their LHCF names and comments? I don't want to add to their profits by having them lift more comments. Great product but they should not be stealing comments meant for this forum not their website! I'm sure some people would not be so annoyed if they'd asked first!
PS..Google your LHCF name, bet you'll be  surprised:eek: at what you see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you do a google search for it, you will see at least 3 LHCF members with quotes about "IT" from various hair websites that they did not authorize to be published!

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There should be a law or something against this. No one gave permission he/they just lifted the comments to promote this site wrong wrong wrong

Good looking out I will not promote the black laxative in so many words:D

OT, BrooklynSouth, how did you like the light mountain henna?

HoneyDew, The Henna portion was fine but the Indigo did not go black at all { it came combined not individually}. My silver strands had a deeper reddish tone but no black or even blue! The mixture was grainier than the Afshan I usually use. I added more water trying to dissolve the bits so had a runnier mix, it stayed on my hair and not the floor and wall all gloppy the way the thicker Afshan does. I'm going to do a serious search for local, separate INDIGO.

This is SO off topic, but I just have to respond. :)

So you have that "Cover Your Gray" kit that comes with the henna and indigo in the box? I have that and never tried it.

Light Mountain's products are always kinda grainy, to me. I have only used the neutral powder and it just does not rinse as well as other products. But, I still get the conditioning effects. I have to just use a detangling comb with the 3rd rinse under water in the shower to make sure it all gets out.

No, I bought it as a bulk purchase from the ayurvedic herbal company: BY THE PLANET. It came in a brown paper bag labeled Light Mountain Henna, black..lotus company, inc.
I did have to rinse quite a few times and then clarify shampoo. The bathtub was a grainy mess.

:lachen:BrooklynSouth, thanks for the review. I get my "white laxative" from a local pharmicist. They dont sell it in stores here. I love the results, but as soon as I finish this last bottle (I buy in bulk), I will definitely try this out!!! I have heard so much about it in other threads.

Oh Yeah, I did go to that site, LHCFers are selling the H*$$ out of this product. If I wasnt already on the board, I would buy it...

You are welcome, it really is a great product. One company selling it {that we know of!} with bad tactics but still a keeper product.
