It Is Not Phyto's Fault (very Long)

It's really my fault. Or Hairboutique's fault. I don't know, but I wanna cry right about now. So, on like the 2nd of February, I ordered my Phyto from hairboutique.com. Put in my SHOP code and the whole nine. I was like, this gives me two weeks because I had plans to relax on the 16th. Then I found out my SO had big Valentine Day's plans, and add that to DSD and errbody hyping their Phyto lives and having sukkie smooth new tresses, so I'm like ok, bet, I'll relax asap, that way, I can join the club AND be seksie on V-Day. So it didn't come yesterday...but I'm thinking, no worries, tomorrow is a good day for a trip to the salon. So it wasn't here at 10 am, and I was getting a little paranoid. I went into my email and got the tracking number. I enter it on UPS.com, and they are saying that the package, which was delivered to Louisiana, could not be delivered because the recipient had moved. Never lived in LA (although I am retiring on the bayou, but forget that for now...not important). I'm in Georgia, yall. So, I'm fuming because I am thinking, ok, now I have to be the Black girl, AND I MIGHT not be getting relaxed today??

I send them an email, explaining what happened and that it might get ugly if'n I don't get a VERY timely response. Some Schmo Joe emails me back and tells me that they had sent me an email telling me something about my billing and shipping addresses not matching, and as such, my order had been canceled and I would get a refund. First of all, I am willing to semi-concede that there could have been an issue with my shipping and billings since I just changed my new billing address with my bank about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I seriously doubt this, though, since I have placed other orders and received them sans drama since that time. Additionally, my bank has sent me correspondence at my new address even before I ordered from hairboutique. Furthermore, after I got that email stating they needed additional info about my addresses they sent me THREE more emails regarding the shipping of the product, so I just assumed it was a glitch they straightened out (I was out of town, and came back to check my email and had about 4 or 5 from Hairboutique). I told them this, in addition to the fact that a phone call or a follow-up email might have helped me understand that my Phyto was not en route. What did NOT help was sending me an email confirming shipment, another with a tracking number, so on and so forth. Nor did it help that the money was withdrawn from my account and never replaced. I AM LIVID right now...and I'm sad...and now I have to find somewhere I can go get Phyto, but QUICK. Before Mona tracks me down in the street and kills me, not that this is NOT an indictment of Phyto, because I am still having Phyto fantasies as I type, but goodness knows someone at hairboutique is really due for a smackdown!
 
Is there a Sephora that is within driving distance? Call the store to make sure that it is in stock and hopefully everything will work out. Sorry about the situation Dreem.

Oh no Dreems!!!! I'm so sorry, b/c hb.com is usually very timely and professional. How do u get the whole freakin' state wrong??? Anyhoo, try calling that Phyto # Kaddy gives out. They have a product locating service I believe. I know Sephora in my area doesn't carry the PhytoSpecific line at all. But maybe there is a salon someplace in your area that can help you out. I'm so sorry Dreems. I know exactly what it's like to plan for Phyto hair and have to wait on that delivery man while you life and PLANS tick forward. :ohwell: The Mister is going to love you all the same, new growth and all.

Thanks so much Sengs :kiss:...that post made me smile. Thank you too, lkg4 :) ...I just found that out, too. I had to have passed those at least 23729382 times, then. I'm going to call them now to see if they have the Phyto line! Maybe the weekend isn't ruined after all :D !
 
Wow, I'm really sorry to hear about that! :( I can't offer any suggestions, I'm in Cali but I sure hope you get the Phyto for your tresses!

I saw the Phytorelaxer in Sephora at Perimeter like 2 weeks ago. It must have been requested, cause a few weeks before I went in there and they didn't have it, but the last time I went in there they had like 6 boxes of it. So you can go there without having to fight the crowds and traffic associated with going to Lenox. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I ended up calling the number, because I was worried if neither Sephora had it, I'd have to drive even further out. I found a salon (Michael's?)that carries it about 25 miles away in Decatur. I had to log back in, not because I'm a fiend :look:, but because I'm headed to the salon review board (so what am I doing in here :lol: ). I decided to buy it from them, and I am going to choose one of the other Dominican salons (not Lilly's, where I usually go, because now I can't stomach the wait I'd have to endure in there) and have it put in there. Thanks again, ladies :kiss:! And Sengs, you and "the mister" have a great weekend, too :grin: !

Sephora at Lennox mall has it.
 
Sorry this happened Dreems. Call 1-877-SPECIFIC and they will be able to tell you exactly where you can go to purchase the relaxer. Just let them know you are looking to purchase the PhytoRelaxer (maybe even which index) and they will (should) give you the name of the place, phone number, and location.

Wow! I am so sorry this happened. I hope you find a kit from somewhere. Don't let that anxiety get you down though. I am sure you will look fab relaxed or not!!

Girl!!! You scared the mess out of me! I was out of computer circulation for a few days, so this was my first opp to log on...and I SEE THIS!!!:eek:

You know I'm extra sensitive about the inflammatory PHYTO threads that seem to have popped up of late! I'm just glad your okay and nothing happened to that gorgeous head of yours my fellow Aries!
