This weekend, I plan to do a henna prepoo, then shampoo , do an avacado mask, oil rinse and then moisturizing conditioner. Is that too muc? Has anyone tried this combo? Also, I have a whole container of henna now. About how much should I measure out for those henna gurus? A cup? 1/2 a cup?
Help a sista out!!! muahz

From my experience with henna, it's going to make your hair stiff & hard. Some consider it their protein. I've never used avocado but maybe you should see how your hair feels after rinsing the henna out. If it feels like you need moisture skip the avocado. I have heard that using a henna mix w/ yogurt keeps the hair from becoming too stiff though. I've only hennaed twice and neither time was I impressed. HTH

I'm no where near a guru :nono: But when I did my henna, I just made enough for what I thought would coat all my hair. I just kinda eyeballed it, I guess that's what I'm saying.

I don't know much about Avacado, I'm sorry. :( But when I finished my henna, I used STRAIGHT UP MOISTURE to help combat the dryness. I used Elasta QP DPR-11 w/ EVOO and honey in it. Cuz the dryness can be no joke if you don't get some moisture right back in your hair.

HTH somehow..
