Is this normal during bunning and no mani?

I'm on week two of lo/no mani, bun-ing, MN and bootcamp..whew!

On alternating nights, I oil with my MN mix and the other nights I lightly oil with a coconut/shikakai oil mix. Last night I was oiling and about to baggy and as I was putting my hair in the bag, I glided out about 15 hair strands. Not pulled out because it seemed to me as if they were just hanging out because they were shed.

Now, my question is, while I know you are 'supposed' to loose between 20-40 hairs a day, is this shedding normal?

My thought was, if I'm not combing and I don't get any hair (well maybe 2 strands) in the morning when I smooth into a pony, this is just hair I would have normally shed and seen either in the morning or with my nightly wrap, right?

I know I'm full of questions, but I wanna understand what's happening every step of the way. I'm taking pictures and keeping track of my products and progress, so when I succeed at each milestone I can go back and help someone else.

To be a teacher I must first be a student.:yep: I am like clay in the potters hand.

Thanks Ladies

That sounds normal. The average person sheds 50-100 strands per day. So if you only manipulate your hair 2 or 3 times a week, you'll see all those accumulated strands at once.

Thanks, MCo and for the extra info.

If it's all just sitting there waiting to come out - don't wanna freak out when I start to see the extra hair during wash day. :yep:
