...a natural anti-humectant??

like, how honey and glycerine are humectants....is there anything thats an anti???

hmm...that's a good question :scratchch
I imagine anything hydrophobic would be decent (oils). But I wonder if there is something REALLY good at keeping out water...and hopefully that wouldn't be super heavy either...I dunno

'Cones (dimethicone, eg) keep water out of the hair. They are basically waxes that coat the hair and they repel water.

Hope the helps!!!

I would think that any type of heavy natural oil would serve as an anti-humectant. I remember when I was little and my mom would press my hair....she'd put some kind of heavy grease on it afterwards to make it last longer and endure moisture.

How about some Kemi Oyl Shea Butter pomade (or any other heavy natural pomade) or a heavy olive oil?
