Whats the difference between

a humectant and an anti-humectant (eg in the Aveda line). I've heard some of you mention these products and I wanted to know what you use them for and which ones are better for styling relaxed 4b hair? Thanks

humectant - attracts moisture - good for curly styles and i guess protective styles for ends.

anti humectant - repels moisture (good for presses, silk hairstyle).

very strong smelling.
