i haven't used a rinse in over a year but my hair is still stained from it. is there some type of shampoo and treatment i can used to get rid of the rinse. i really don't want to bleach my hair. i'm scared it may really weaken my hair. i don't know if there is so a product but if anyone has tips it will be appreciated. thanks.

Clairol Professional Metalex The Stylist First Aid. This was what I used when the Sebastian colourshine in Liquid Amber turned my hair jet black instead of reddish brown.:eek::eek::mad::mad::mad:

Here is what it is used for:

Hair conditioner and color corrective.
Conditions damaged hair.
Prepares damaged hair for chemical processes.
Removes build-up from temporary rinses and styling products.

It was recommened by Tracy in an old thread that I found on here.
