use the Aphogee Treatment for Damaged Hair WITHOUT heat? I don't have a hair dryer and I want to use it before I get my relaxer next week (I am 13 weeks post relaxer) but I want to get the maximum results.

i think you have to use the heat because it is the heat that hardens the treatment.

You should definitely use heat. That's how the protein hardens and fills the damaged spots in the hair shaft

With strong protein treatments like that, you should ALWAYS follow the instructions (to the letter if you can).

Last time I used it, I was experiencing shedding, in my case it stopped the shedding almost completely.

I think Sally's sells a hood dryer for $30 :-) Until you can buy a hair dryer try Motions CPR it works well with a plastic cap. It will also almost immeadately stop shedding.

If you don't have a hair dryer then you can use a blow dryer to harden it.

Just don't manipulate your hair. Pile it atop your head and run the blow dryer over it until it hardens.
