Is anyone still using Aveda DR?

These products are so wonderful, but I can't foot the bill on a consistent basis, or rather I refuse to. I've found that if I use the treatment as a leave-in, it lasts a while and I still get some of the nice benefits.

ETA: referring to Damage Remedy products

Dry Remedy or Damage Remedy? I used the Damage Remedy when I first joined LHCF, and I loved the results, and I thought for certain that I HAD to continue using the products. Then I found ORS Hair Mayo and Replenishing Condtioner. Those two work just as great, if not better, than Damage Remedy, without the price tag. My bottle of Damage Remedy (a regular 8 oz bottle maybe? It definitely wasn't the huge family size bottle) was like $22. I love Aveda and always rave about their products, but the pricetags are just too big for my wallets.

^^Oh forgot they had dry remedy too now, thanks. I'm referring to Damage Remedy.

ORS Mayo? Okay, I may try that. I've tried the replenishing pak, like it but it builds up too quickly for me.

Supergirl, I so feel you. I loved Damage Remedy when I first had it used on me by a stylist, but won't get it coz of the price. :nono: I really don't know what is comparable to it coz I seemed to have been doing fine before I ever knew of it, so I don't seem to miss much.

I love DR, it's a staple treatment for me, especially when used with the shampoo. However it is expensive. To help stretch it out I'm now alternating it with my UBH conditioner which is pretty awesome too. My hair is feeling so much stronger now. :yep:

I still use the one in the blue containers. But I also use .....Long Term Relationhship....I'm shocked that I like a grocery store brand.

I'm still using it, I've also incorporated the DR leave in into my regimen as well. Love the whole line. The price tag is high, but my liters last me a year so it's not so bad.
