i'm not into transitioning, I like my hair to be manageable, I do stretches but only to give my hair a break for relaxers in the winter months.

there's nothing wrong with natural hair i love others natural hair but I don't have the patience to work with it. guess i'm a relaxer fiend lol! oh well. hello fellow ride or dies lol!

I'm relaxed and find that my thick hair can be time consuming. I think about my natural hair often but then I remember what is was like having my "fro in college and get nightmares. I didn't know how to care for my hair then, but i know it would still be twice as much effort as now.

Maybe once I have a family, then i'll grow out my roots :)

I plan on staying relaxed for a long time. I thought about going natural last year when I decided I wanted to put more effort into keeping my hair healthy and making it grow long. But, I prefer my hair straight, so now that I'm certain I can keep it healthy and retain length with a relaxer, I'm going to do so for a very long time.

Ok, let me just say it. I don't imagine myself EVER transitioning or BC'ing again. YES, both natural and relaxed hair are beautiful but I love my hair just like this!!My hair is thick and the longest it has ever been. While I did grow a good 9 inches of hair as a natural, I just find that my relaxed hair is easier to deal with. Point blank--I love the way it looks!!! Sisters are buyin' wigs and weaves to get my length hair!!! :) I'm not knockin' either--cause I LUV me some hair whether it's bought or one' own, but I'm almost brastrap and love to let it FLOW.....

I have no problem being relaxed(texlaxed) for the rest of my life. My hair is healthy and happy and I still can wear an afro puff if I want to. So I am happy for now. But one day I may just cut my hair off and keep it in a short natural (probably when I go through menapause):lachen::lachen::lachen:

I'm gonna be relaxed to the end! :dead:When i was young and natural, i was a Notorious Comb Breaker. That's why i ended up relaxed, beauticians wouldn't mess with my hair no more.:nono: And where i work i have to wear a hair bouffant to go into the lab. I had to start wearing 2 when my hair is curled, so i couldn't even imagine if it was natural. I would lose my job from going through bouffants too fast!:lachen:

Yep, relaxed for life. I don't have cute, 3 textured hair. So I'm gonna stay with my relaxer.

tell it like it is
same here

But actually I have mixed feelings. I change my mind everyday.... going natural is tempting, transitioning is scary
and hell no im not big chopping! my hair has only been short once in my life
the only time my hair has been a "twa" was when i was a baby ...so I'm terrified of that...

I'll be relaxed forevers. I remember what it was like to be natural when I was a kid and in high school, I just can't see myself going back to that anytime soon. Maybe when I'm 70, but I'll probably be a silver haired waist length relaxed chick.
