What is the best way to put in those buns like Eva is wearing? I have one, but refuse to wear it out because of I'm afraid it will fall out because the design just doesn't allow for secure placement.

Any tips?

Thanks!!!

It looks like you could do it with a donut/sock bun applied first and then a braid wrapped around it. There shouldn't be any problems keeping it secured and you could add some extra pins. I do think there are some fake buns made like this but I can never match the color right.

You could make your own by wrapping fake hair around this. I think DontSpeakDefeat has instructions in her fotki.:

what i do is i put my hair in a ponytail, twist the ponytil hair nd secure with a band. then i take some weave hair that matches my hair color, and wrap it around my ponytail, securing with hairpins (not bobby pins) as needed, once i have wrapped it around enough times, i split the weave hair into a top and bottom section, and place it into a circular bun shape.then i take the twist (my hair) out, take a hair band, and pull my hair over the fake hair base. I add pins if/where needed. Very secure. Lots of pins but... better for your hair than a sock bun.

Great Idea!
