Ingredients that indicate Protein?

I often see posts about products containing protein. How can you tell if something has protein in it or not? Since an ingredient list never actually says "protein", will you ladies please list ingredients that indicate that a product contains protein in it? Thanks.

Often they do actually say "protein". What kinds of products are you wondering about? Most conditioners, for instance, will list the kind of protein...wheat, soy, milk, rice, etc. in the list of ingredients, if not on the front of the bottle. You can also look for amino acids.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I'm refering to heavy proteins... not the obvious.

Most will list the types of protein as Cichelle said, but especially in the heavier ones look for collagen, elastin, and keratin.
