Neither. I use a wide tooth comb to detangle when I twist my hair after washing and deep-conditioning.

I don't use either. I found that my fine hair does better if it is absolutely NOT combed while wet. I have also found that a deep conditioning will leave my hair easy to detangle once dry.

I chose other but I actually do both. I saturate with lots of conditioner and finger comb. When I have all of the tangly spots out from scalp to ends, then I stand under the force of the water and comb with the shower detangler.

I use a denman. Not the D3, but another style , the Freeflow. It has wide set pins, much wider than the D3 and is easier to use.

I voted Other because for me it depends on how tangled my hair is. I use a shower comb and my fingers. When its really tangled I use my fingers and when I get to a knot in my hair I will roll it between my index and thumb until it is out.

I use a comb, I feel like a comb can more easily distribute the products evenly than fingers. Of course I could be wrong.

I use my shower comb to detangle only when my hair is full of conditioner. I have fine hair also, so it doesn't take long at all. 1, 2, 3 and I'm done. Then I just let the water rinse through and either do Kini's method she mentioned above or leave it soaking wet and rollerset.

ITA @ the bolded.
