I'm pretty sure the Korean lady at the BSS is mad at me...

Thanks to all you wonderful ladies. Amazing isn't it! You all are an instrument of God touching other people lives in a positive way. If I am there and someone ask me, I would always share my wealth of knowledge.

Ghez I almost forgot about these incidents - One lady was concern about her thinning hair and shedding. To me it didn't seem thin. I told her about Black tea rinses and garlic pills plus this wonderful site.

Another time a person was asking about VO5 Protein Creme Treatment, which I was heading to buy. I love that product and told her how to use it and how much I love it.

Recently I wanted to give back, (I usually await for people to approach me) so I reached out to family and friends and sent them links to this site and youtube videos. Also I shared evidence of my success in taking care of my hair. Now the ball is in their court, but I will be here if they ask.

I also told my cousin I will come over and do a treatment on her hair to help turn it around she is transitioning from texlax to natural, she is experiencing a lot of breakage. She has taken me up on that offer and I am excited to assist.

OP, that was a really nice thing you did for that woman. You helped a lot of people just by helping her. Good for you!:yep:

You're awesome and just helped a little girl in need of some desperate TLC
I pray that the heavens open up and rain free conditioners upon your head LOL Seriously tho that was a great thing you did

1. One of my Indian friends here at the law school cut her hair over the holiday break at the beginning of the year and she said that it was dry and that she had been using oil on the ends of her hair to moisturize it. I had to break it down and tell her that oils seal in moisture and told her to get a moisturizer and then seal with oil. The next time I saw her she was raving about how moisturized her ends felt now.

2. One of my BFFs (Latina) asked me a couple of years back what she could do to her hair so it didn't feel so dry after shampooing. I told her about putting EVOO on her hair beforehand and then washing with shampoo. She didn't realized how beneficial it was until one day she was in a rush and didn't do the EVOO prepoo treatment. She called me immediately afterwards and told me how different her hair felt not putting the EVOO in beforehand and that she would never do that again.

I am always down to help anyone out. These are only 2 vivid examples. I have had so many people ask me for advice and so many people pleased with the results when they follow them.

I love helping the mixed kids family members.

however, my sister in law refuses to listen to us about my neice's hair. she rips through it with those paddle brushes. But we can't do anything except deep condition it and care for the poor baby's hair whenever we baby sit. But my neice's hair is thriving. she's got WL hair and she's only 2.
