I'm only approached by guys when they're drunk. Its not like they're trashy drunk, usually they're my classmates/ colleagues and its at a school social function, but still... they're drunk.
I'm still in grad school and I interact with a lot of my male colleagues on a daily basis. I'm cordial with most of them, and several have expressed an interest in me, but most only do it when drunk at a school social function. I've never really been into picking up drunk guys, but I'm noticing a trend. By ignoring drunken come-ons I'm blowing off a lot of prospects, I think. I know its not the best story to tell at a wedding, but it is what it is.
I don't know so what do you think? They're never disrespectful, and most of them time, its something like, "Oh freelove, I think you're really cool and pretty and I've always wanted to tell you but I didn't think you'd be interested." From what I know of them at school they are pretty nice guys, and whatever. But why are they always drunk when they tell me this?
It would be nice to be approached by a nice, sober, successful guy but it doesn't seem like its going to happen. I'm sad.
