I was supposed to post this back after my trim in October but here are some recent pics of my hair. Again, I go to A. Dickey at the Hair Rules Salon in NYC.

2 WEEKS POST FLAT IRON RESULTS:

About two weeks after my hair cut, I went back for a deep conditioning and to have my hair blown out and flat ironed. Now I would NEVER go 2 weeks without washing my hair usually, but I wanted to see how long the straight hair would last lol. I got two weeks out of it by applying very little product in between(I used aveda brilliant serum maybe twice maximum two pumps each time) or touching up with heat. Have to thank the weather for holding out for this lasting, but my scalp was begging to be scrubbed!

and lastly, tonights KCCC and KCNT results. This time I made sure to saturate my hair with the KCNT, comb thru in shower, then apply about a dime size to knickle size of KCCC to each half of the hair, and combed through (making sure I covered the crown, canopy of my hair which is more wavy and prone to frizz). I sat under the dryer and it dried quickly compared to most curly products and curls were elongated, shiny, and soft.

Yes, I'm definitely a cut-a-holic and I've accepted that lol... I'm trying to cut out the EcoStyler/Fantasia Gels from the routine as they have proven to be somewhat drying to my hair when I use frequently do to the protein content, so I'm giving this KCCC stuff another shot.

Your hair looks especially pretty in that last picture! Was your hair cut when it was curly instead of straightened? The ends look amazingly even curly, which is a bit unusual (at least for me and the naturals I know).

Great pics!! You always get the best hair cuts (and make me want to get my hair cut too). But I am leery of letting someone cut my hair who is not a curly/natural hair expert. And I don't know of any of those in my area.
