I'm Gonna Do It, I'm Gonna Get My Hair Cut

I've wanted to cut my hair into a blunt cut for some time now, but I have yet to get up the courage to do so. I screwed up once and cut one section of my hair way short, it was stupid and ever since I've wanted to fix it. This would take me from MBL to about 1 and 1/2 inches above bra-strap. I didn't know if it would be worth it, but I think it is, I just hate the way my hair looks at the moment.

My cousin is going to do it for me this evening.

ETA: 1 1/2 inches later:

Bumping for you...

Did you end up cutting it? I would have waited a little bit longer but if you're happy with it that's all that matters.

Yep, I'm going to post pic's when I get home. My hair grew since the last picture so i ended up only needing it cut up to the end of my bra-strap for it to look good. I also think Ayurveda did something for the thickness of those strands, but I gotta wait to load the pictures to tell for sure. Give me a couple of hours and I will be back with pics.

Sorry for the crappy after pic, she put my hair in a ponytail before I left her shop. I just took my hair down and didn't comb it. So, that's my own stupidity. Anyway's she cut exactly 1 1/2 inches off. She refused to cut more because in her own words, my hair is healthy and she will not cut my undamaged hair that much. So I guess once I reach my goal I will maintain at Waistlength and get rid of the uneveness that way. However I have to say that it looks much better than it did in my opinion.

It still looks good. Couple more inches and you're WL ;) How much growth did the ayurvedic regimen give you compared to your usual growth?

I say do it! LOL it'll grow back!! LMAO probably even faster than you'll imagine. Its not a drastic cut! Enjoy!

Put it this way, I started a truly ayurvedic regimen December 1, that first pic is Dec. 14 or 15(whichever was the end of bootcamp). I got exactly 1 1/2 inches cut off yesterday and my hair is almost the same length as it was December 14. I retained about 3 inches between July 2008 to December 2008.

One last question. What was your ayurvedic regimen and how often were you doing it? I guess if you do it another month and you get 1.5" then it's a definite.. :)
