I'm dealing with a whole "new" set of curls since giving up Denman.

I love turning my ends with the denman...but found that I should do this sparingly as I think they were making them get a little damaged, so I opt for finger-twirling now.

Update

In this extreme heat and humidity my wng held up well. This is the 4 day and the last 2 pic is the 7th. It's been beat up and clipped up in a bun by the last day lol

Your curls look great whether you use the denman brush or not!
