Hi ladies!!! I have been gone for a hot minute, but as always you always return home! Well I wanted to share my new journey with ladies who would actually understand my insanity lol!!!
Well I was wearing wigs for a minute and then the glue was killing my edges so I stopped for awhile and then I decided I wanted Rhianna red hair a few weeks ago, but also I had an itch to cut all my hair off! Well I went with the red and ended up totally bleaching and dying my relaxed hair! O.K., bad right? It gets worse! I wanted my hair redder in spots, because the color didn't take well in my crown! I decided to add manic panic to the mix less than a week later!!! Still not the worse part! My hair was fire engine red and a bit crazy for work so I decided to dye it YET AGAIN!!! YES! I dyed it a darker red which was actually very pretty, this was like a week after the manic panic and 2 weeks since the original dye job!
Sooooo I waited 2 weeks after that and I relaxed my hair!!! Can you say sabotage!! So my hair has been breaking like crazy!!! DUH!! Now I knew this was going to happen, but like I said I was already prepared to cut it! This just confined my decision! I woke up yesterday and I could literally rub off my edges!!! They were as dry as the Sahara!! Now I did moisturizer and seal, but my hair was just fried!
Sooooo I told hubby yesterday morning I was going to cut it all off! He said alright lets go! I was like. but wait! Give me a second lol! He hopped up got his clippers and was like lets go! So I let him bald me and let me tell you it was hard to see all my hair on the floor lol! He asked how short and I told him Mr. Clean Bald! So now I look as smooth as a cue ball!!! He cut it all the way down with the clippers and then he lathered me up with shaving cream and got the job done with a razor!!!
Now I have no idea where I am going from here! It is exciting, but totally scary! We went to the grocery store after and people looked at me like I was crazy or sick! My kids think I have lost my mind and told me I should wear a wig, because I am freaking them out lol! My daughter told me"Mom where's your hair? You don't cut your hair, your suppose to have hair!" She is 3 lol! She then proceeded to say that she could see my brain when we were in the car and when we where in the store she kept telling me I looked like an alien very loudly ROFLMAO!!! Hubby loves it oddly enough! He even had me sit in the sun, so the color would even out lol!!!
I have always admired the natural girls and I think I will try that for awhile and see how I like it! I will wear a wig to work until my hair starts growing, because I work with elderly pts. and I just don't think they will get it lol!
