Or it doesn't feel good or like you like it to feel (mines feel reallllly rigid, like protein overload, must have been something I used last night, I am scared to even touch it), would you rewash again tonight?

I'm about to walk to the BSS to clear my mind....:lachen:

I rewash. I try not too but I am so anal when it comes to my hair that I end up rewashing anyway. I go to bed thinking, "Okay, just wait" but I will be up at four in the morning doing it again anyway.

This is so me. I am VERY OCD about my hair!

This is exactly what happened to me - I got frustrated and end up with a TWA. At this time, stay FAR away from the scissors and wash it again. Hopefully it will feel better after the second wash.

Oh gawd, lemme walk to the store and take this ish back pronto!

Yes. This has happened to me when trying new products, usually the culprits are the ones with too much protein. I rewash with my tried and true products. If it really feels awful I'll clarify first.

I would because I look foward to washing my hair because I love the way it feels afterwards so if it wasn't right then I have to do it until it is.

Sure, why not...my old stylist that passed was such a perfectionist that she washed my friends hair, tried a new style and it was all done...she decided that she didnt like the way it looked so she re-washed and styled it:lol:

Heck yeah:lol: . Why did you change up your usual regimen? Were you just getting tired of it?

Just a PJ trying to find drugstore staples. :ohwell: Trying to find stuff that I don't have to order online. ( I found a good pre-poo, shampoo, leave-in, still testing some conditioners tho).

The funny part is is LOOKED cute, nice a shiny. But it felt rigid and crunchy!

I'm pre-pooing now and as soon as I slapped that pre-poo on everything just felt so great. I cant wait to shampoo and DC.

A tie between Africa's Best Organics Liquid Leave-in (I am pretty sure this was it) and Just for me detangler.:ohwell:

oh my, was it the mayo one? That stuff made my hair clump together:mad:. Stay away from that shampoo too!!! bad memories

I can tell as I start to blowdry if my hair is not worth flatironing. It is either not condtioned enough, to hard, something just isn't right. So yes, if I want to where it straight and this happens I absolutely wash it again and get it right. I don't want to waste the flatironing pretty

Without a doubt! I have before and will again I'm sure. Usually happens when I try a new product or rollerset. :p

Okay, I'm off to poo...I tried SO hard not to come here first! ;)

Rewash. My had a rollerset that my DH raved about then was upset to find me w/ my head under the sink about an hour later.

It looked great but it was crunchy I used too much setting lotion. :ohwell:

Yep! I'm tripping on you going to the BSS to clear your mind...I can relate. :)

Yep. Once I figure out what went wrong, I make the necessary adjustments, clarify, and start all over.

Okay, I guess I'm just lazy but I would just do it the next day. That happened to me before but I didn't have the time or patience to go through the whole process again. I just braided up my hair and put it in a bun and called it a day.

Definitely been there done that. Whenever I use something my hair doesn't agree with, I clarify and then start all over with moisturizing shampoo and DC.
