If you like big hair come on in (PICS)***UPDATE/curly PICS***

Good Afternoon all,
I decided to share a few pics of my newest install /protective style...I plan on keeping this hair in for 3 months! and that is a stretch for me because I don't usually keep hair in for too long (I'm addicted to playing with my curls):wallbash:

I have not wet the hair yet and it does (from reviews) tend to swell and become more defined when washed & products are left in.

My Goodness I'm sorry the pics are so big!
I only left a little hair out in the front (horseshoe shape) and a little around my edges. I'm looking for a stylist in the Houston area that can layer the hair to frame my face if you have any suggestions don't be shy and PM me. Thanks Ladies!!!!

***UPDATE CURLZ GONE WILD!!!***

Ok I could NOT wait to see this hair curly so this morning I woke up early and applied Joico K-pak conditioner on my ends and worked my way up, I rinsed that out and detangled with my shower comb---shampooed with Joico k-pak then co-washed with Suave Almond Shea butter conditioner and my hair had such slip it was a crime!!!:lick: I used cantu shea butter leave-in on the length and Elasta QP Mango Butter on the ends and a little Cocasta Shikakai Oil to seal and these are the results.... ENJOY!

Sorry for the goofy face...was waiting for my hair to dry -

I actually thought that that was your hair until I read the post.
Great install; it looks so natural!

Wow that is a lot of hair. I am thinking about getting an install soon... like.. really soon

That looks great...very natural! What brand of hair is that? How much did it cost? Where did you buy it? I need the details!!!

:woot: Go Bettina! Lovely!

I thought it was natural bc I looked at the pics before reading the post. Looks great! :yep:

I can relate to hands in hair syndrome. What is your reggie going to be for the next 3 months?

I agree with some of the other thought this was your real hair until I read. Please post the details soon. You know we would ask.

Thanks for the compliments ladies!!!
This is actually a sew- in using about 1 1/2 Packs of Bohyme Brazilian Wave Hair (14" color 1b The hair comes in a silver package Platnum). w/ some of my hair left out in the front...horseshoe shape.
(I will post a pic later of the package)

The hair ranges to about 70-90 dollars a pack (Remi)
I got it for a steal though at a local seller in Houston---buy one get the next half off.

Ummmm.... about my regimen...hmmm

I know I want to maintain a clean scalp so I will cleanse 1x a week or maybe 1x in 2 wks (I'm addicted to co-washing but I have tried that in a sew-in and because of the nature of my hair the tracks will get loose just after one light washing-I HATE this)

I will use jojoba oil/ EVOO on my scalp since it can be very dry 2x a week
and DC w/ joico or any protein conditioner after each cleansing. (my hair can't get enough of protein)

I purchased the Joico k-pak Shampoo and Conditioner along with the hair and hope everything works out for the best.

Looks great! The texture is awesome-- if I were to ever do extensions I'd probably go for something natural looking like that.

Oh gosh, I thought that was your hair....I kept scrolling down like where's the weave? I thought your pics were before the install, lol.

Whoa thats Brazilian Bohyme? i thought that hair was wavy! didnt know it came kinky straight!!!

I loves it!

LOL @ Poka---I'm workin on gettin my hair this long but it will take a couple of years, I'm glad I have you ladies and this forum as a constant reminder we can achieve health and length.

@ ppg0069--- I thought the hair was gonna come curly but I know it will get curly after I wet it. I'm just enjoying this texture for now and will post pics of it curly soon.

um..

i'm in Houston. You gon' tell me where you bought that hair. :look:

i'm supposed to be taking a weave break too. i like that texture because I won't have to flat iron. Nice!
