If God Has Something for You...

Supergirl

With Love & Silk
then it's for you.

A friend reminded me of this yesterday. I know it, but it's not always at the forefront of my mind. It sure is a stress-buster to be reminded of these things. :)

Supergirl.... you are so right and;

The amazing thing is that the 'revelation' of this Word is in 'Revelation'

There is an open door no man can shut... (Rev 3:8)

Therefore behind that door is what God has for you and only you and no man can or circumstance can have it but you!

Before the foundations of the earth, God knew your name. He sent His Word to command 'Light' over darkness and it was, and God said, 'It was good'.

God sent His Word to command the water and the land to be set in one place apart from one another, perfectly defined ... a boundary perfectly lined.

God set in place, a Destiny and a plan for his sons and daughters to possess this land, to have dominion.

To each of you has been ordained a gift, a goal, a vision, a dream...'Silk Dreams" :look: which ease you across and past the threshold of that open door where God 'has it for you' ... behind the open door, which no one can enter but you, and no one can shut to keep you from going through.

If God brings you to it, He's most definitely will bring you through it... :love2:

"Your........ Open Door'. :yep:

Take a step...the windows have your names upon it.

Indeed God does have it for you.

See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. --- (Revelation 3:8)

In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Love,
Shimmie

Thank you OP for this timely message...it's difficult sometimes to fully trust in Jesus every time. Until something is placed into a person's path that is a great difficulty for them personally, they will not realize this yet. Time and experience are the greatest teachers. Thank G-d for h-ly scripture because when we are having difficulty with something, we can have faith and believe (for my edification and fellow catholics...there's a Marian prayer below). I will say this prayer today again.

Padre Pio recited this novena every day for all those who requested his prayers. Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

I. O my Jesus, you have said: "Truly I say to you, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you." Behold I knock, I seek and ask for the grace of...... (here name your request)
Our Father....Hail Mary....Glory Be to the Father....Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

II. O my Jesus, you have said: "Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." Behold, in your name, I ask the Father for the grace of.......(here name your request) Our Father...Hail Mary....Glory Be To the Father....Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

III. O my Jesus, you have said: "Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away." Encouraged by your infallible words I now ask for the grace of.....(here name your request) Our Father....Hail Mary....Glory Be to the Father...Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have pity on us miserable sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of you, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, your tender Mother and ours.
Say the Hail, Holy Queen and add: St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, pray for us.
-- St. Margaret Mary Alacoque

Thank you Supergirl

I also realize that instead of "claiming" what I believe God has for me, a simplified approach (as Jesus Himself taught us in the Lord's Prayer) is to ask God to show me His will for my life and give me the grace to accept it. He sends good things and allos bad things to happen but it is all for His glory. In the end , His will will be done.

I've found that to be my approach as I've gotten older. I'll talk to God and say something like "God, I want what YOU want. That's what I want most. I really feel like this is something I want, but if it's not in Your plan, that's okay, just help me to have peace about Your plan. I know Your way is always best."
