I Would Like to Make an Announcement

Ladies...and gentleman, I have reached a major milestone in my hair journey. After doing the "big chop" this January, I am finally able to put my hair into a ponytail.

Additionally, I have decided to wear a protective hairstyle that includes using an afro-textured phonytail. And even though it looks like I'm wearing a pom-pom on my head, I'm sure the results will be all worth it at the end of the year. End of announcement.

JenJen, I had about 4 inches of natural after cutting the relaxer out. Now it's a little over 6 1/2 inches with the help of curl activator & nightly scalp massages. I am getting a trim, though, but that shouldn't set me back too far since I'm doing it myself. Thanks for the congrats everyone!
