i wore my first wash and go out today!

well, technically it wasnt out cuz i had my ouchless headband on...but nobody could see it! only wore it for a little while too, cuz it was STOOPID hot! i was like, oh hell no this mess aint gonna be in my face all day!!! had me sweatin! everyone loved it, and wanted to touch my little coils....but i advised against it cuz my hair takes decades to dry (its still wet now) and it takes even longer when i actually put product in it....

i have to say, i didnt like it i dont like the shape of my hair at all...i dont really know how to cut it and shape it, and i dont trust anyone else to do it...

i just dont feel like i look good without having it pulled back. the front is a different texture and doesnt readily curl...it just doesnt look good....

Funny I did a wash and go today myself more out of laziness. I just conditioner washed and put my hair in a ponytail, smoothing down the edges with some ORS lock and twist gel. It looked cuter wet than dry but it's not too scary. Oh how I will pay in tangles tonight.

I think I'm going to try a wash n go while I'm on vacation. There's no air conditioning at work and it was almost 100 degrees today so I know I'm not wearing my hair like that right now.

hantani, don't feel bad, I don't like the way the wash&go or shake&go look on me either. In order for it too look good I have to do the shingling method, which takes a long time for me to do and defeats the purpose of a shake&go style. However I love the way my hair looks when I actually take the time out to shingle it out and let it dry under the dryer a bit it really looks good like that.

At least you tried.

You sound like me Shatani Oh...and I can't say anything about you not posting pics, because I refuse to post pics now(no change in hair)...and I have a digital camera I'm using my album for progress only.

I keep closing and re-opening my album I'm like who would want to look at these same old pics...I tried of seeing my pics.

its much cuter today than yesterday! i used MUCH more product than yesterday, and i did it in sections....really i should know better than to try to do stuff to my hair without my sections, i should KNOW!

only thing is, i put a bit much on the front section, so its a little white....and i feel like my hair is NEVER going to dry...i been dripping since 9:30am! but i have to say, it looks REALLY cute...the product weighed it down a bit so it looks longer (but it IS still wet, so i'll have to see whats going on when it dries) i still had to put on my headband, i guess im just not meant to have hair in my face! i love the way wysdom's (ya'll know her?) hair looks, but its just not comfortable on me!

but yeah, there will definitely be no picture, cuz my supervisor called out so im not going in to work today (i just do her paperwork) so no access to a digicam....sorry, folks!

i did a conditioner wash...then when my hair was soaked, i slathered on a heaping helping of proclaim activator gel mixed with EQP recovery....then once it was coated, i shook it like a polaroid picture and that was that! cute, curly, covered in goo only, i put too much in the front, its STILL white...good thing i didnt have to go anywheres!

hair is still wet, and its shrunk some more, but it looks pretty cute....i want to blow it out and give myself a cut, but im on a no heat challenge its for the best that i avoid the heat anyway....plus, im gonna braid it up this weekend anyway.
