I Went To Reniece & Co Today

I've been on the forum for years but still don't have the head of hair I desire. I have been faithfully filling out the cancellation form for awhile but things never worked out. Last night, I got an email asking if I could come this morning!!! Of course I said yes  The whole process took 3 hours from start to finish. There was no waiting and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

My hair was done by one of the junior stylists, Shamira and she did a wonderful job. She was very gentle with my hair and seemed very knowledgeable about hair. She actually recommended ditching the chemical relaxers because my hair is very fine, so I decided I will transition to natural with weaves. We discussed a regimen to try for the next 2 months before my next visit. I am planning to follow it to the letter because honestly I haven't developed much of a regimen of my own.

I am excited about embarking on this new chapter in my HHJ. Reniece was also soooooo nice. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I am so glad my patience finally paid off! Now, to the pictures...

Looks fantastic, and you have a pretty smile! :)

I'm sooooo jealous of all of you ladies who get to see Reneice! *pouts*

Thank you ladies! For those of you still waiting, try the cancellation form. I have been trying to get an appointment when the books opened for 3 years. It took a few weeks to get in via cancellation.

The hair is just some leftover Indian Remy hair I had from Princess Hair Shop that I ordered last year. I wouldn't recommend anyone go out and purchase it but it's better than BSS hair. I will take her advise and get extensions plus for my next install. I definitely plan to come back and update. We took some starting pics today, so I will track my progress and share with you all.

Regimen:
-Shampoo less- just once every 2 weeks using 2 tbsp shampoo diluted in color applicator.
-Deep condition every shampoo with same method
-Moisturize with water based creme and seal with light oil every 3 days
-Castor oil massage on edges every other day
-Wash extension hair with a clarifying shampoo as needed

Hi @TracyNicole how has your been since the visit? I was thinking of seeing her too

stephluv I am still happily a client. I have been getting great retention. Almost all of my relaxer has been trimmed away and my hair is way more full in comparison. I can post comparison pics. If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to answer.

Great pics!

Also, question for you- Do you leave any of your hair out when you get your sew in done? If so, how do you blend it with your natural hair? Thanks! :)

I don't leave any hair out because I am transitioning. I was freshly relexed when I started going. Some ladies there do have leave out. I have seen rods used to blend curly hair and flat irons for straight installs.

TracyNicole...did they use a net? Just wondering I need to PM you cause I have some more questions. I had a private consultation also but still havne't booked yet...thinking that I can get the same growth with any stylist...But obviously I can't cause My hair is breaking as fast as it's growing.

I finally got on her books last summer after being on the waiting list for like 3 or 4 years!

I am extremely happy with their work and all of the awesome progress my hair has made since going there.
