i didn't take too many pics the first half of 07 bc my hair was so jacked up (had a badly broken spot in the back of my head)

the first is July. The last two were within the last month

been having some major breakage and crispy ends so i may have to cut

My hair has come along a looong way.

I was totally digusted by it for a while and couldn't be bothered with taking picture and tracking my progress. But now i can see the improvement, and it's given me hope that I can reach bra-strap one day.

From this (end 2005 -early 2006). The ends were baaad, but my hair was thick and steadily growing.

To this (one month later). totally jacked up. The picture still makes me cringe and i'm quite ashamed of it. I believe self-relaxing, doing my hair myself,over-moisturizing, no trim and rusk sensorie smoothers (the devil) are responsible for this.

To this. Had to cut it. Twice (once in summer 2006, and then again in feb 2007). I criiiied. But the new hair stylist responsible for the cut, was a god sent. I adore her now (although she looves trimming)

Your rollersets are so pretty! What do you use to get your hair so soft and shiny looking?

Don't let the pics fool you. my hair is by no means soft, lol. I have very dry and coarse hair. My hair tends to have some shine without having to use alot of product when i use lye relaxers, which is what i've been using.

I think all the pics i posted i had been to a salon. But if i do my hair at home, generally i will use some type of serum on my hair like Keracare silken seal right after a roller set. A nice lightweight spray is lusters pink glosser, it is in a clear bottle with pink writing on it. and kemi oyl.
