Ok, all you do-it-yourselfers on this board needs to start opening up a salon or something!! That looks NICE B'More!!

Wow, it looks good for your first time. How did you seal the ends?

BMore...Your hair looks great. I just got twists a little over a week ago and I'm worried about getting moisture into these things. I used afro bulk hair and it soaks up everything. So I'm going to take down one by this weekend to see how my hair feels. If its dry I may even try doing a hot oil treatment. I'd hate to take them down early b/c there so cute. And I can just get up, moisturize and go!

Dont be worried. I think maybe it was the brand that I had them used. It was that wooly/hard type of hair. I originally wanted hair that was closer to my hair type but I never found it:ohwell: It didnt damage my hair but it took about 3 deep conditioning sessions to soften it up again.

These look good. I may have to try them as one of my braid styles!

Wow, you're so talented! I can't wait till I can do that to my hair!

Thanks ladies!! I singed them a little bit with a lighter before I rodded them and dipped them in hot water. The only downside to using the lighter was that they're snagging on each other in some spots. I don't think I'll do that next time. I might just tie a little slip knot or something.

Check it out. I used 3 packs of the Marley Braid hair in 1b. And it took me about 6.5 hours. They could be neater but it turned out okay considering I didn't know what I was doing. I'm gonna try and keep these in for a month and then maybe I'll take them down and do it again. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I got a compliment today too. Here's some pictures:
