Is it okay if my hair is flat ironed before I get my hair sewn in tomorrow? I know it makes no sense. I straightened it yesterday b/c I was gonna where it down. I went to a party. But I don't like how it turned out and I'm taking pictures next week. It took me FOREVER to do it and I don't want to have to wash it and blow dry it over. I usually just blow-dry before a sew in to make it easier to braid. It should be okay right?

I haven't been wearing weaves long, but I think you should be all right. What would the harm be, ya know? Perhaps hit up your braider and ask.

i use to do full head weaves and i noticed that straigthing my hair before putting in a sew in made the braids sit flatter so the overall look was better. it never did any harm to my hair so you should be fine! :)

It shouldn't hurt your hair or affect your sew in. But your braider may not be happy because your hair will be "silkier" and harder to grip.

It'll be fine. My hair is pretty long but I've found that a good braider can still make it sit flat even if it isn't straight. BUT with that said, it's already straight and you should be fine. Hope they don't braid extra tight because when you wash your hair "shrinks". Keep that in mind as it will go back to it's natural state(at least that's my theory). BUt still you should be fine to get a sew in. Enjoy!
