For those of you who have a hand-held blow dryer and are considering buying a soft bonnet dryer, consider this: you could just buy the "attachment" that attaches to your handheld dryer. At first I was skeptical doing this, but I bought the Belson one for $9.99 out of Sally's and attached it my Revlon 1875 ionic dryer and used it for the first time to do this rollerset. Worked fine for me :yep:

 Thank you so much! i was seriously considering this! Thanks!

Your hair is absolutely beautiful....

You are too cute, you are trying to hide your face in some of the pics. but in others, it looks like you forgot. Very Cute. :lachen:

LMAO :lachen:....you are right....and you weren't supposed to notice that LOL :look:

I was going to paste over my face so you couldn't see how rough I was lookin but I got so excited about posting these hair pics that I was like "whatever"....lol :look:

If you didn't tell me that your hair natural, I would swear in a court of law that those last two pictures after you flat ironed your roots were a relaxed roller set. You got that style on lock girl. I can't wait to try a much shorter version of that but I can do smaller rollers and do a more full curly look... You have me given me some great ideas to try

Trust me....I am VERY "style-challenged"...which is why I am always wearing my hair in a bun...and if it's pressed I get it pressed in the salon....so I had NO IDEA how it was going to turn out :look: Especially considering I've never done a rollerset on my hair before...

I wanted to include this link, which was also very helpful/encouraging. I know it's been mentioned in another thread or two (I think the owner of this site may be a member here???)

Anywho, the link has some good info about rollersetting natural hair...I didn't do the mesh rollers she mentioned because I couldn't find the ones I wanted to use, so I tried the magnetic rollers instead....HTH:

I am still wearing my hair straight-ish today...it's very soft still and it's been holding up against reversion pretty well. So I think the products I used were good for this first try...I also think that the steam treatment may have helped my hair alot to lock in some of the moisture and make it easier to detangle (this was also my first time doing a steam treatment, too by the way)...

WOW ! I had no idea your natural hair was just like mine. I am so inspired! Beautiful, fantabulous pics :)
