Wow this is really pretty. Were these 8 individual braids you put in or 8 cornrows and did you smooth down the roots first then start the braiding after you smoothed down the roots? Just wanted to know b/c whatever method and technique you used to acheive this im copyin......trust...lol

Hey! I did 8 individual braids (I have no idea how to cornrow...LOL)

I did this on totally wet hair, while in the shower. I soaked up my whole head with Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship conditioner (after washing with their LTR shampoo), and combed through it one section at a time. Literally after combing through each section, I braided it up afterwards.

By the time I was done, I had 8 plaits. I braided them pretty tight, too. I put a lil Giovanni Leave-in on all the plaits before stepping out the shower.

I tied it down with a scarf overnight. Hope this helps!!

I know, right??! LOL In it's shrunken state, my hair is above my shoulders...and it's been that way for a loooong time now it seem like It's cool, though, cuz I can wear it longer if it's straight, or in its shrunken state I can wear it shorter in the summer months for a change of pace
