I touched up and cut it all even! PICS

I relaxed on monday of last week. Today I airdried, lightly flat ironed and the scissors were calling my name. I said goodbye to my tails and broke my no-cutting challenge. I had my mom trim me (for the first time in years) and she took off up to 2 inches in some places. erplexed I sighed, but oh well. It's been a long time since I have had even hair all across.

Now I didnt style my hair, but here are some pics. And you can see my henna color really good in these pictures.

It looks good!! Your mom did a good job with your trim I'm like you, I only trust my mom to give me a trim when needed. The last time, I did my own.

I've been on LHCF since the end of december 2005 and I feel like I havent made any progress, but looking at these pics, I see that I have. While I've been at bra-strap forever, I am at a much healthier and thicker bra-strap (from using less heat and FINALLY finding a product rotation that works for me). I dont have anymore straight ends left and my whole hair is texlaxed. So, I guess from here on out, my journey is starting new. My hair was thick before, but it is way thick now and it cant be weighed down by anything. lol

Thank you, ladies. I'm very happy with the results. When I first joined LHCF, and before I got length greedy, my goal was bluntly cut, non see through bra-strap. After 8 months, I'm finally there. erplexed Let's see how long it will take me to get even length (or close) mid-back.

Thanks, blackbarbie. I would have to say that "texlaxing", nixing the blowdryer, using the flat iron minimally, and detangling in the shower are totally responsible for my hair's increased thickness. Also, since january, I've been using a combo of products that work wondefully with my hair.
