I Took s Scissors To My Head...again. Bob haircut pt 2 *pics*

Do you have any pics of your twist out?

you know, i dont i just havent been photographed with it, but i'm gonna make it a point to do so. It's just when i do i dont think about taking pics. When i do the twist out, i use my crimper to crimp the weave hair.

love it! it looks very natural. i may have to get your girl to give me a sew in. i'm in h-town yunno! i need a good protective style.

can't wait til you experiment with the amerie style. that one is hot!!!!

Alrighty ma'am, how do you ALWAYS get your hair to look so flawless with these installs???

I love your bob cuts..I am definitely going to get one this summer!!!:yep:

Thanks Hysi! If you want to get an install, I can give you her info. I fell like her pimp, but naw, its just that i really like her work. I can't wait to try Amerie's look either! I think that may either be my Valentine's look or my friend's upcoming wedding in March.

Aww thanks! I think it's all about styling the weave and your hair at the same time/together. For instance, while layering with the iron, I use half my own hair and half the weave hair. Also, it's a combination of getting hair that matches your hair color/texture. I think it's also about how you get it installed, because one braid and sew into the wrong part of your head will make it look too fake.

Too beautiful...!!! Nichi, what flat iron did you use?

I used to have a Chi, but over a year ago, I gave it away to a friend whose dog chewed through her iron's cord. I haven't been using my Chi in a while because for some reason, I didn't like how it made my hair feel. Funny, when I read someone start a thread about that, I understood.
So months before I gave it away, I bought a Tool Science from Sally's. It's the only place I've seen it sold. I know it's not priced like the FHI, Chi, Sedu, etc, but it does a great job. I saw a friend's results one day and was convinced. It makes my hair sleek and shiny, for real.

Here's a link to it: Tool Science Nano-Silver Digital Styling Iron

Read the reviews also, they're really good.

I would love to get a bob weave...one day when I get over my fear of weaves, I'ma do it!
Forgot to comment...loves FAB!

come on down! You're in Texas?

No, MS. But I don't mind driving. I have fam in Lake Charles, LA and Houston is about 45 min to an hour from them. I would rather drive to have it done right then experimenting with someone who may not know what they are doing. :yep:

oh you're not far away! I'd drive the distance too if I couldn't find a good stylist in my area, especially since I'd be wearing it for 3-4 months.

On another note: As she was cutting my hair yesterday, she mentioned that some ladies whom she did their hair from LHCF brought Halley's Curls hair and she said it was really good hair that was reasonably priced. She went out of her way to mention that, so I figured it would be a good idea to post that so if you guys are deciding between all the hair to get, to add this to the list.

Also, there's this popular and nicer beauty supply store in Houston called Mari Ari, my friend went there and when she bought her hair, they gave her some free gifts along with her purchase (she bought mid price hair), gave her 35% off her first purchase, a coupon for % off the next purchase and they put her on this mailing list and send her coupons all the time; here's one I'm passing on to y'all. She's sticking with this BSS, she says

so to all the Houstonians:

Girl!! I've been itching to do something new. I chopped the hair down to my shoulders about two weeks ago. When I saw this thread, I went to TGF and had them mimic the cut with my bang of course. I absolutely LOVE it!! Thanks for posting!
