I ripped the soft bonnet of my GE hair dryer....

The bonnet was getting crackly; the last time I used it, I pulled the string about my neck and I guess I pulled a bit too hard. The string ripped out of it's casing, and the side of the bonnet ripped pretty badly.

If you guys have any suggestions on how I might be able to make this dryer usable again, please pass it on!!!

You should be able to order another bonnet from GE. I'm sure their phone number and website came with your dryer or you can look it up on the Internet.
