Thats a good example, if you dont know what the hell your doing with relaxers or chemical applications in general leave it alone and seek someone with greater knowledge and experience to apply it for you!

When my brother had an S-Curl, he did a similar thing, he would put the cream on once a month because he kept his hair short and got haircuts at least once a week. Maybe this man did the same thing. Maybe I am the only person who doesn't think this is rare.

I am dissapointed that he didn't read the directions before applying it to his hair and I hope his hair grows back. Maybe he can just wear a bald fade

That's why the warnings on packages of relaxers and texturizers tell you follow directions carefully so no dissaster could accur. I feel sorry for her hair falling out, but using common sense and good judgement should've been exercised. Like they say, if you can't fix it, don't try it!

This is the exact reason why I’m transitioning! Relaxers are no good for my hair as is the case for this guy. They’ve done no good for my hair, and never will. I’d rather deal with my nappy hair then live my life with no hair, bald patches, and such. I’m just glad one of the members here directed him to this forum. Hopefully he won’t be too upset if he does visit to see that he’s the topic of conversation!
