hello all


im 12 months post in two weeks
i got my hair pressed at a salon and i have a few strands of heat damage in one area, my thing is im in a rut. i dont know if i want to continue to transition or to bc. now if i do the bc i know i probably will regret it i want it to be a long term transition. i want to have some length. one thing i may want to do is to trim as i grow which i have been saying since june 13th 09 but the sheers have only touched my ends once and that was feb 2010. id love to make it to 18 months or even 20

what do you think i should do

i guess i wont make any rational decisions by doing that
would braid my hair but im not feeling it. i need to head to walmart to get some ic fantasia gel and bun for the next few weeks and see what i will do next

^^yup, exactly. all of my worst hair decisions were done at times when i felt stressed about it, and that's what you're going through.
can you do some quick cornrows with added kanekalon (sp?)?? honestly, bunning never keeps me out of my hair cause it's so easy to take down.

Hmm, I would continue to transition & do as you said. Bun, bun, bun. Braids or senegalese twists with added hair would be good.

Leave your hair alone. A good half wig or phony ponytail or bun your hair will stop you from making a quick decision. Also your hair will grow while you are trying to make up your mind.

I'm 12 months post in one week and I would say you should really hang in there and just try to do protective styles. Look for some hair accessories for doing simple styles and also a variety of styles, such as the goody spin pins which I am DYING to get.

Remember...the less you mess with your hair...the more length you retain...the less stress and the simpler you keep things....which is most important....Life has enough worries right?
