I now remember the DUMBEST thing I have ever done

to my hair. While ironing my jeans this morning I remembered

After being inspired by Ricki Lakes character in the movie HairSpray, I tried to straighten my hair like she did by laying my hair across the ironing board and running the iron over the length of my hair

Just thought I would share for a good laugh

That's one of my favorite movies and yes I tried that too!!! It turned white from the starch on my iron.

I actually thought about trying that too back when i was in HS....but I somehow overcame my curiosity...

I don't remember, I was too worried about trying to remove the starch from my hair, before my momma found out about my bright idea.

I too was in high school.

Not really.

I kept doing it

to my hair was completely flat, but it wasn't straight. If that makes sense

i can honestly say that was just as crazy as me setting my hair on fire like michael jackson.

I went to high school with a hispanic girl with naturally wavy hair and she used to do this to her hair. It would be perfectly straight and gorgeous

But um--I wouldn't try it for my life

I remember being a little too eager to take my omelet off the stovetop.... That was the first time I knew that hair burns P-R-E-T-T-Y fast!

When I was a kid, I was in a pagent, and my grandmother completely forgot that there was no way to use the hot comb at the hotel, so she ironed my hair on the bed, with a pillowcase over it, LOL.
