But I was tired of having scrambled egg head every week

so I had to switch back go my aphogee

LOL Humm egg you say...how are you applying this egg mixture, do you let it harden like aphogee? To prevent scrambled egg head should it rinsed with cool/room temperature water instead of warm.

I did that LOL

I seemed to have more scrambled egg with cool water ..

But Yes I would actually use Mayo with it, use a plastic cap for 15 minutes

rinse

Moisture Con

Rinse

Girl I tried an egg one time.... it was a mess. :nono: My friend was like 'You done gone too far now.....' :lachen: But hey, once I got all the scrambles out, my hair was bangin. :look:

Really? I might add an egg to my ORS Hair Mayonnaise. I always thought it wasn't necessary.

If I'm ever trapped on a deserted island with a bunch of chickens I'll try it again... :look:

When I did my first egg treatment, I just whipped one egg and slathered it on my dry hair. I didn't use a shower cap because I was afraid it would create too much heat and cook the egg. I let the egg harden in the open air (like an aphogee treatment) and rinsed in water almost unbearably cold (I wasn't taking any chances). The result was hair that was THICK, strong, and shiny. It was soft, too!

What about just yolks?

This sounds like a plan. I'm back on egg white omelettes, so this morning I used the yolks for a facial mask. My face felt great - looked great.
Maybe later in the week, the yolks can be mixed into a my generic humectress or some cholestereol? I hate to waste anything.

I think using the yolks is a great idea! I've read that the egg whites are what makes the rinsing so difficult. The results should be extra yummy adding a conditioner. Keep us posted!

When I use egg I haven't been left with scrambles.
I add Vatika oil to it and it helps to make it smoother. Sometimes I add some ORS replenishing pack to it as well. I do it as a prepoo, so by the time I wash my hair and follow up with a moisturizing conditioner no remnants are left. The results are great everytime. :yep:
