Hey ladies,

What do ya'll put on your hair to control frizziness and puffiness due to humidity? We went down to Mississippi this weekend, and as soon as I got off the plane my rollerset took a bad turn. All the curls fell out, and I was left with a big, poofy mess. I didn't want to put any heat on it, so I just pulled it back into a ponytail. I have never had a problem before, but my hair is much longer this summer - and I guess that makes a difference.

TIA for your help!

I have the same issue in the summer, so I would love to see what others do in this situation!

i've been using the Sunsilk Anti-Esponja and the Sunsilk No-Frizz (i think that's what it's called)... it's doing really well to combat against frizziness...

I have the same problem and have yet to find a solution.

SqrpioQutie, you have gorgeous hair!

Lustrasilk has a spray that's antihumidity. I believe it's called Lustrasilk anti humidity spray. I spray it on before I blow dry and a tiny dab before flatironing and my hair will not frizz up. But make sure to lock in the moisture before spraying.

Case in point :) I do my friends daughter's hair (age 11) and last week I forgot the Lustrasilk Anti-humidity spray and after finishing Maxi-Gliding her natural hair straight she went out to play. She came back in wearing Oprah hair instead of my pretty press. I was shocked. But the week before she did the same thing and her hair stayed sleek and pretty.

Also try straightening serums and shampoos/con combos: Paul Mitchell, Aveda, Redken to name a few.

Yeah, Paul Mitchell works but don't get his straightening serum, I use that and still get frizzy hair.

I currently use Fantasia Frizz-Buster Serum. It's working. :D

Still looking for something to smooth my ng tho'. :perplexed

Ultra Sheen Super Setting Lotion Diluted with 50% water (this worked for me when I lived in Louisiana where there is 100% humidity 6 months out of the year).

When I rollerset I use a small amount of Aveda anti-humectant pomade on each section as I roll it and that helps. You could also try John Freida anti-frizz serum. I live in a humid place and the Aveda really seems to work. :) I also smooth it on my hair when I wear a bun and get no frizzies.
