Hey Girls I know the day isn't over yet but I was wondering if any of you did any special weekend treats for your hair? :bath: Relaxer, proteins, treatments whatever. List your weekend specials. As of now I am pre-pooing (have been since 2 o' clock and will do it until about 9 o'clock).
I plan on:
-pre-poing for about 7 hours with the new Pantene Restoratives mixed with various oils (grapeseed, jojoba, aloe vera oils, rosemary, and carrot oils-a "dred juice" from the health food store)
-shampooing with Pantene Restoratives
-light protein, Nexxus Keraphix mixed with Nexxus Humectress
-conditioning with Pantene Resoratives
-and regular heat styling.

What about you ladies

hmm let's see

i did a castor oil treatment today for a few hours... what sucked though, is that after a while, it makes my scalp VERY sensitive. I still had it for a few hours.

I went to whole foods market today and bought organic hair products to replace my Nexxus that had run out.
I got Giovanni 50:50 shampoo and Smooth as Silk conditioner and Aubrey Organics GPC conditioner

i used the shampoo and AO conditioner. Didn't feel that I needed an extra conditioner after.
Detangled, put on Giovanni Direct leave in and put my hair is a low ponytail, braided the length, made a bun with it, and tied it with my huge Louie scarf. Still have it on right now :)

i took it off a few minutes ago. My hair feels OH SO SOFT. Me likey:grin:

I did a dab of keraphix, a lot of hummectress, and a dab of WGO as a deep cond and left it on for maybe 3hrs as I cleaned up the crib....

I pre-pooed with Suave coconut and 2 tbls of evoo. Washed with Motions Lavish Moisture and followed with Elasta qp Breakage control serum. I finished up with mango butter topped with Profectiv mousturizer (pink liquid). My hair feels thicker ans stronger:lachen:

My Sunday treats --- raising the moisture level in my hair and roller setting. I did a clarifying poo and then deep conditioned with Ouidad conditioner mixed with Humectress. Lightly rinsed, added leave-ins and roller set. Now I have nice shiny, bouncy hair.

I just finish applying a semi-color (natural instincts) in medium ash brown. After I rinsed the color, I applied the conditioner that comes with the color and a little Roux Porosity Control conditioner (20 minutes and rinsed). I am currently deep conditioning my hair under a plastic cap (for a few hours); I applied (mixed) NTM deep conditioner and KeraCare Humecto. This week, I will be concentrating on MOISTURE MOISTURE MOISTURE.

I did the natural relaxer with an avocado, lime and coconut milk then I
shampooed and cond with elucence

Update on this:the lime in this mix eventually made my hair hard and dry I will no longer add the lime to this mix

Hmmm...let's see. I got my hair permed yesterday. I was much overdue. I had't gotten a perm since November. I told her to do whatever to my hair and she put curls in it. It was cute, but the spritz got to me, so today I washed it out and did a deep conditioner. As a matter of fact, I'm sitting here with my ORS Olive Oil Replenishing pak in my hair with the conditioning heat cap. I am loving it!

Yesterday I pre-pooed for about 8 hours with olive oil and Chosteral conditioner. After that I washed with Silk Element Shampoo, did an ACV rinse and DC. After that I added my own Leave-In ( made of VO5 Strawberry n Cream Conditioner, olive oil, and water), IC Serum and a little cream press and blew dried my hair and placed it in a bun.
