I used herbal essences highlighting kit.I'm not sure if i miscalculated my timing..but i'm not feeling them.they look really bright against my dark hair. They were supposed to be bronze..more like shocking bronze!!!

I'm not sure what to do at this point.Should i wait a few weeks to re-color my hair.I really dont want to walk around like this at all but realize i do have a relaxer and my hair needs time to re-coup.

CAn i maybe use a rinse in a few days to take down the horrid color. If so which one..

help me

When I had my entire hair dyed around 2 months ago, I didnt like the color and they put a rinse right on top of it. If you use a rinse w/o ammonia or peroxide, you should be fine. You just have to make sure that you use a moisturizing conditioner and keep you entire hair well moisturized since it's colored.

ITA. You can use a rinse (i.e. Adore, KISS, Jazzings, etc) to tone down the color or reach your desired shade, but whatever you do, don't try to fix the mistake by putting another permanent color on top. That will only make matters worse. Good luck!

herbal essences highlights are not permanent...if you wash your hair everyday for 2 weeks they will have considerably faded...if not all gone..

maybe u picked up the wrong shade....that is a good brand to just be a demi-permanent and to actually lighten....

Actually, they are permanent. Normally anything that uses bleach to lift the "pigment/color" from the hair shaft is considered permanent and washing it out will not work. ITA with everyone else about using a rinse to achieve the color you want. I like Sebastian's colorshines. Remember to condition and moisturize. Also, reduce excessive manipulation, to prevent breakage.
