JaneLane for $200 this is just plain unacceptable and where I come from these are not called Micros? I dunno maybe the terminology is diff in NY. Over here Micros are literally Micro i.e. a few strands of hair - the way they do them in Africa. Also for these size plaits for $200 she should have braided all the way to the ends. WTH was she doing to 7 hours? Honestly you wanna drop some of these Jokers in the middle of market in Lagos and see if they think they can get way with this standard ??? They would starve I tell you.
Anyway, as another poster said go back and get her to re-do it. I would go back to the shop all sweetness and light PEAK time when all the other customers will be there, that way she can't wriggle her way out of it. Then when you finished, let her have it and never go back.
Also I think what could have happened is that when you pressed your hair it appeared straight and so the lazy arse felt that she could get away with not braiding down to the ends bc your hair appeared straight and appeared to blend. However after the press wore off and your hair became puffy it became really clear what she had done.
