How do I protect my ends?

Can you do a "french braid"? That is a really neat and long lasting style that protects the hair very well. Just tuck the bottom of the braid back up under the hair. From looking at your signature, you have more than enough hair for that. Basically if you have enough hair to "pinch up in the middle" as my mom calls it, you can wear a french braid.

Other than that, I would focus on avoiding heat styling and only doing wet sets to protect the ends of your hair. That way you can maintain your length as you grow your hair out.

Why not add a phony pony. They have them in buns and all types of styles. Just add it on to your short pony tail. Get the right one and it will look very natural

IIRC, the hairoil.com site says to apply a light oil to the ends and cover the hair at night.

From your pictures your hair looks long enough to pull back and add a phony pony. Unless you cut it since then? But it is enough.

In your pics it looks like you have enough for a pin-up. When my hair was shorter than that, I use to use those little wal-mart clamps.

oh never mind i saw your album.. you could try braids or cornrows or twists maybe? Or maybe silk scarfs tied up like a lot of African women do.

You have enough hair to pull back!!! You can make a fake bun. Your hair looks really nice!
