How to slick hair down phony pony?

I want to wear a weave pony tail but im not sure of a healthy way to slick the hair down as flat as possible? Any ideas?

How do you currently slick down your hair?

I would suggest slightly dampening the hair, adding gel or your holding product, then setting the hair with a scarf.

I use bee mines products to normally slick down. I thought gel is a no-no

There are plenty of alcohol free gels you can use. Eco-styler gel seems to be a favorite for many and is easily accessible.

I use a moisturizer to soften, grease to seal, and smooth n shine conditioning gel or dove spritz both have the hold without the hardening or stickiness
