I've always been led to believe it is a religion, just as Islam, Catholicism, Judiasm, Buddhism and all the others are.
Is Christianity a religion? Thanks.
JenJen2721 said:It depends on who you ask. For me and many other believers it's a lifestyle. To others, it's a religion. Most textbooks describe Christianity as one of the 3 major monotheistic religions.
I was reading an article the other day that some young people are starting to call themselves "followers of Christ" instead of Christians because to them it's more of a lifestyle than a religion.

You are right Blossssom... it is a religion in the sense that there are set attitudes, beliefs, and practices... but Christianity also has to do with how we live, fellowship, serve, and worship our Lord.
