Mj11051, please don't cut your hair off. I love it; I think it's absolutely lovely. We all get frustrated with our hair from time to time; PLEASE think about it some more.
I know exactly where you're coming from regarding your ends because my ends get on my nerves too. They always look frayed (I airdry) and they never feel soft enough. They feel fine now b/c I trimmed earlier this week (bad flat-ironing experience last month). Also, the Hydratherma Naturals Growth Lotion sealed with castor oil is making my ends feel good (for now, anyway).
The point of my rambling is to implore you to think DEEPLY about this before you make any decisions.
