I got wig checked! ME?!

So I'm at work and got my hair straightened. BTW I'm natural and haven't straightened since about March.

So my coworkers are asking me all day "Hey is that a wig?" And i'm like uhhh no with a confused face bc I thought it was obvious.

So one guy didn't believe me. He's like Lemme see and runs his hands through my hair and pulls it. Then says Ohh wow nice.


Ok so i'm attaching a pic. Now like I said, my hair is frizzy and a lil poofy in this pic but I set it on spiral rods n kept it in big fluffy curls when i went to work. Be gentle cause i'm not on y'all levels in here!

WTH?! Sorry but that has never happened to me. By NO means is my hair flowing down my back and by no means is it ANYWHERE the hair I've seen on this board. Kinda puzzled me but could it be that my ps and hard work is starting to pay off in the overall health of my hair?

I think with weave checking a lot of it is to do with how healthy and beautiful the hair looks, more so than the length.
