I don't know what "fun" means in this context. I'm guessing the coworker either meant "cute, but not for the office" or "funky/cool, but I wouldn't have the nerve." I hope it's the latter, but it doesn't matter since you like them.

Well she is just a "tenant" in our office she works for an out of state CVB that rents her office space from my company, so she makes no decisions regarding my employment and can think my hair is "fun" all she wants
