I got a perm/texlax 4a/b with photos.

The photos are from October 2006, December 2006, May 2007 and today. My hair is long. When the heck did this happen. I am soooo happy, that I am almost to bsl. Then it is going to be waist lenght. I kid you not I am a 4 a/b it's possible. It only took me 2 and a half years. lol.

Now I need to lose 20lbs then I will be off the hook.

Picture was taken June 14,2007. I just got a full relaxer at 75%. For the past 8 months I relaxed at 55%. I wanted fuller hair. I got it plus the length and now I can go back at 75% every 4 to 5 months.”

I waited 4 months between relaxers. My hair takes about 30mins to get it bone straight. I stopped shooting for bone straight 1-year ½ ago. I usually relax at 75%, which is about 20mins. My hair stalled growth for a while. So I decided that I am going to relax at 55%, which is 13mins. I did this for about 2 times with 4 months between each relaxer. This time I went over the 55% and did the new growths at 75%. What I ended up with was a very thick and longer hair. I knew it would work, because when I perm at 55% I pretty much gave my hair a break for 8 months. It worked. I still try to c/o wash twice a week. Plus I deep condition and shampoo once a week. I use mostly Dominican products for conditioning my hair. I mostly wear protective styles. Most of the times I wear a wig. When I wear my wigs I layer. 1st satin sleeping cap, 2nd wig caps (2 of them) and 3rd the wig. I put the teeth of the comb between the wig caps, so the teeth do not touch my hair at all.
