That is a super cute bun! I'm in the military and this would look so much better than my nappy bun that I usually pull together.

Can I ask a few questions?

Was the kids organics shea butter detangling moisturizing lotion the only leave-in product you used? I'm asking because your hair looks so shiny...what did you do with your ends? Are they pinned under? Ponytailer?

I hope that's not too much. TIA.

No I used the KOSBDNL with Silk Touch and Kemi Oyl
My ends are kinda tucked under..

Alright, I read the whole thread and I didn't see no instructions... get on it! :D That bun is too cute.

I used Sistaslicks tutorial...
But here is what I did

I washed
Conditioned
Detangled (KOSBDML)
put Leave in (NTM Silk Touch, Kemi Oyl)
Slicked hair down with EQP glaze
Put hair in Pony Tail
Put pony through donut hole of the homemade bun (pls see sistaslicks tutorial)
Spread my hair around the donut to make sure the sock is covered (I use a comb or boars hair brush)
and I take an ouchless pony holder and put it over the pony
Smooth it out with a brush and Taadow

I hope this helps you, Im really not a great teacher

Thank YOU. :rosebud:

I can't wait until my hair is long enough to bun it! Then I know it'll grow like crazy... No heat... No major manipulation... Yeah... Can't wait!!!

*off to search for Sistaslick's tutorial... so I'll be ready!*

Your bun is very pretty.

Also, the Elasta Glaze is fantastic. If it can straighten my new growth, and it did, it can straighten anybody's. I'll be able to stretch for a long time because of it.

Gimme that baby!! He's too cute.
