Looks good! I always wanted to make a big one but I can never get it to the size I want (the size u have)...you're gonna make me go out and try to make another one tonight...I'm getting sick of this phonypony wrapped around to make a bun. How do you keep your ends from getting dry?

Well Ive only had this on for 3 days, and I moisturized extra b4 I put it up, I will wash tonight and baggy my pony and bun it in the morning (thats the plan , but we will see cuz my hair doesnt dry straight   )...
for the size I have I used 2 winter socks and one dress sock

That is a super cute bun! I'm in the military and this would look so much better than my nappy bun that I usually pull together.

Can I ask a few questions?

Was the kids organics shea butter detangling moisturizing lotion the only leave-in product you used? I'm asking because your hair looks so shiny...what did you do with your ends? Are they pinned under? Ponytailer?

I hope that's not too much. TIA.

Dang that looks good. I'm jelly. I was doing something similar but not nearly as cute, but I felt like my holder was stressing the ends so I stopped using it.

Khandi, your bun is too pretty. I can't wear buns as often as I want because for some reason, my ends come out so brittle and scraggly lookin. No matter how much I moisturize (S-curl, moisturizer, oil), my ends come out lookin rough. I figured it was because of the type of hair tie I was using (I was using a really thin one), so I upped it up a notch and tried a thicker one...same results. I didn't really want to wear a big ol' scrunchie on my head so I opted for a thin scrunchy...same results. I just came to the conclusion that I won't be able to wear a bun the way I want until my hair gets long enough where I don't have to use the sock and I can just wrap my hair in a bun itself.

U used Silky socks? I never thought of that!!! Thanks Khandi! I was tryin to think of something to put over the drying foam donut.....!!

Off to my 99 cent store!!
